Economic performance grows by 4.1%

The gross domestic product of Hungary was up by 4.1% in the 1st quarter of 2017 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The main contributors to the growth were industry and market-based services.

The volume of gross domestic product grew by 1.3% in the 1st quarter of 2017 – according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data – compared to the previous quarter.

According to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data the volume of gross domestic product increased by 3.7% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
