Economic performance grows by 3.2%

The gross domestic product of Hungary was up by 3.2% in the 2nd quarter of 2017 compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. The main contributors to the growth were market-based services. The volume of GDP rose by 3.7% in the first half of 2017 compared to a year earlier.

Compared to the previous quarter the volume of gross domestic product grew by 0.9% – according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data – in the 2nd quarter of 2017.

According to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data the volume of gross domestic product increased by 3.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
