Economic performance grows by 3.6%
The gross domestic product of Hungary was up by 3.6% according to raw data and by 3.8% according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data in the 3rd quarter of 2017 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The main contributors to the growth were market-based services. The volume of GDP rose by 3.7% in the first three quarters of 2017 compared to a year earlier.
Compared to the previous quarter the volume of gross domestic product grew by 0.8% – according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data – in the 3rd quarter of 2017.
According to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data the volume of gross domestic product increased by 3.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In the frame of the usual annual revision, the time series of quarterly data in the period between the 1st quarter of 1995 and the 2nd quarter of 2017, as adjusted to annual figures, are going to be published on our website – in line with the earlier practice – simultaneously with the first release, under the menu item Tables (STADAT).
