Trade surplus amounted to EUR 556 million in December
In EUR terms, exports increased by 7.7% and imports by 9.9% in December 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade surplus decreased by EUR 82 million. In 2016 the EUR value of exports and imports grew by 3.1% and 1.7%, respectively, and the trade surplus was EUR 10.0 billion.
In December 2016
the value of exports amounted to EUR 7.3 billion (HUF 2,268 billion) and that of imports to EUR 6.7 billion (HUF 2,095 billion);
the trade surplus was EUR 556 million (HUF 173 billion);
the share of European Union member states was 75% in exports and 76% in imports.

the value of exports was EUR 93.3 billion (HUF 29,048 billion), that of imports equalled EUR 83,3 billion (HUF 25,941 billion) and the trade surplus was EUR 10.0 billion (HUF 3,107 billion).

exports and imports were up by 3.1% and 1.7%, respectively, in EUR terms;
