Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 956 million

In EUR terms, exports increased by 18% and imports by 21% in March 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade surplus was down by EUR 1.5 million. The trade may have been influenced by the fact that there were one more working days in March 2017 than a year earlier.

In March 2017:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 9.4 billion (HUF 2,919 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8.5 billion (HUF 2,622 billion).

The trade surplus was EUR 956 million (HUF 297 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 80% in exports and 74% in imports.

In March 2017 compared to a year earlier:

Exports increased by 18% and imports by 21% in EUR terms.
