Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 878 million

In EUR terms, exports decreased by 1.6% and imports by 0.4% in April 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade surplus was down by EUR 98 million. The trade may have been influenced by the fact that there were three fewer working days in April 2017 than a year earlier.

In April 2017:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 7.8 billion (HUF 2,429 billion) and that of imports to EUR 6.9 billion (HUF 2,156 billion).

The trade surplus was EUR 878 million (HUF 273 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 80% in exports and 78% in imports.

In April 2017 compared to a year earlier:

Exports decreased by 1.6% and imports by 0.4% in EUR terms.
