Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 913 million

In EUR terms, exports increased by 19% and imports by 18% in May 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year. Trade surplus was up by EUR 170 million.

In May 2017:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 9.0 billion (HUF 2,794 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8.1 billion (HUF 2,511 billion).

Trade surplus was EUR 913 million (HUF 283 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 78% in exports and 75% in imports.

In May 2017 compared to a year earlier:

Exports increased by 19% and imports by 18% in EUR terms.
