Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 440 million

In EUR terms, exports were up by 10% and imports by 13% in August 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year. Trade surplus decreased by EUR 119 million.

In August 2017:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 7.9 billion (HUF 2,421 billion) and that of imports to EUR 7.5 billion (HUF 2,287 billion).

Trade surplus was EUR 440 million (HUF 134 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 79% in exports and 76% in imports.

In August 2017 compared to a year earlier:

Exports increased by 10% and imports by 13% in EUR terms.
