Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 522 million

In EUR terms, exports were up by 11.8% and imports by 17.0% in October 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year. Trade surplus decreased by EUR 275 million.

In October 2017:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 8.9 billion (HUF 2,752 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8.4 billion (HUF 2,590 billion).

Trade surplus was EUR 522 million (HUF 162 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 81% in exports and 75% in imports.

In October 2017 compared to a year earlier:

Exports increased by 12% and imports by 17% in EUR terms.
