Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 536 million in April

In EUR terms, exports increased by 11% and imports by 16% in April 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade has been influenced by the fact that in April 2018, there were two more working days than a year earlier. The trade surplus declined by EUR 263 million.

In April 2018:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 8.6 billion (HUF 2,678 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8.1 billion (HUF 2,511 billion).

The trade surplus was EUR 536 million (HUF 167 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 81% in exports and 76% in imports.
