Surplus of trade amounted to EUR 268 million in September

In EUR terms, exports decreased by 2.3% while imports grew by 6.3% in September 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade surplus was down by EUR 699 million. In the first nine months of 2018, the external trade surplus was EUR 4.9 billion.

In September 2018:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 8,665 million (HUF 2,812 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8,397 million (HUF 2,724 billion).

The trade surplus was EUR 268 million (HUF 88 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 82% in exports and 75% in imports.

In September 2018 compared to a year earlier:

Exports decreased by 2.3%, while imports grew by 6.3% in EUR terms.
