Surplus of external trade in goods amounted to EUR 293 million in October

In EUR terms, exports increased by 6.5% and imports grew by 9.7% in October 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year. The surplus of external trade in goods was down by EUR 232 million. In the first ten months of 2018, the surplus of external trade in goods was EUR 5.2 billion.

In October 2018:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 9,456 million (HUF 3,063 billion) and that of imports to EUR 9,163 million (HUF 2,968 billion).

The surplus of external trade in goods was EUR 293 million (HUF 95 billion).

The share of European Union Member States was 82% in exports and 73% in imports.

In October 2018 compared to a year earlier:

Exports increased by 6.5% and imports grew by 9.7% in EUR terms.
