Surplus on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 678 million in May
In EUR terms, the value of exports increased by 4.5% and that of imports by 2.6% in May 2019 compared to the same period of the previous year. The surplus on external trade in goods grew by EUR 185 million.
In May 2019:
The value of exports amounted to EUR 9.4 billion (HUF 3,056 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8.7 billion (HUF 2,832 billion).
The surplus on external trade in goods was EUR 678 million (HUF 224 billion).
The share of European Union member states was 82% in exports and 75% in imports.
In May 2019 compared to a year earlier:
