Surplus on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 37 million in August
In EUR terms, the value of exports increased by 2.6% and that of imports by 1.3% in August 2019 compared to the same period of the previous year. The balance of external trade in goods improved by EUR 99 million.
In August 2019:
The value of exports amounted to EUR 8,141 million (HUF 2,660 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8,104 million (HUF 2,647 billion).
The surplus on external trade in goods was EUR 37 million (HUF 13 billion).
The share of European Union Member States was 80% in exports and 73% in imports.
In August 2019 compared to a year earlier:
The value of exports went up by 2.6% and that of imports by 1.3% in EUR terms.
