Surplus on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 856 million in February, exports increase by 9.3% and imports by 10% compared to January
In EUR terms, the value of exports was 0.8% and that of imports 3.9% higher in February 2021 than in the same period of the previous year. The balance of external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 255 million compared to February 2020. Compared to the previous month, the level of external trade rose by 9.3% on the export and by 10% on the import side.
In February 2021:
The value of exports amounted to EUR 9,593 million (HUF 3,434 billion) and that of imports to EUR 8,738 million (HUF 3,127 billion).
The surplus on external trade in goods was EUR 856 million (HUF 307 billion).
The share of EU-27 Member States was 77% in exports and 72% in imports.
