Price of fruits decreases by 27%, that of vegetables goes up by 38%

Agricultural producer prices increased by 4.4% in November 2018 compared to the corresponding period of 2017, which resulted from a rise of 9.1% in the price of crop products and a decrease of 3.1% in the price of live animals and animal products.

In November 2018 compared to November 2017:

Cereals prices were up by 13%, within which the price of wheat by 22% and that of maize by 6.0%.

The price of fruits was cut by 27%, within which apples prices became considerably, 43% and the price of grapes 9.0% lower.

Vegetables prices rose by 38%. The price of tomatoes increased by 12% and that of onions by 69%.

The price of live animals diminished by 1.3%, within which pigs prices fell by 4.5%, while the price of poultry went up by 1.0%.

In January–November 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year:

Agricultural producer prices increased by 2.4%, within which the price of crop products rose by 5.3%, while that of live animals and animal products lessened by 2.2%.

The price of vegetables was 15% higher and that of fruits as much lower.

The price of pigs for slaughter fell by 11%.

Milk became 0.7% and eggs 5.6% more expensive.
