Industrial producer prices decrease by 0.5%

Industrial producer prices were 0.5% lower on average in November 2016, within which domestic sales prices rose by 1.3% in manufacturing, while they were 4.5% lower in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, also representing significant weight, – as an effect of a decrease in the world market prices of energy sources, lasting for a long time – than a year earlier. Industrial export sales prices were cut by 0.5% compared to a year earlier.

In November 2016 compared to November 2015:

Industrial domestic sales prices decreased by 0.4%. Within this, out of the end-use groups of the producer branches of industry, prices – due to price developments of energy sources – were reduced by 1.3% in energy and intermediate producer branches. At the same time, prices rose by 1.1% in capital goods producer and by 1.9% in consumer goods producer branches.

Industrial export sales prices diminished by 0.5%. Within this, manufacturing prices were 0.2% and – also due to a decrease in the world market prices of energy sources – prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, representing small weight, 10.0% lower.

In January–November 2016 compared to January–November 2015:

Domestic sales prices were cut by 3.4% and export sales prices by 1.1%, so industrial producer prices as a whole were 1.9% lower.
