Surplus on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 1.7 billion, and exports of goods increase by 1.0% and imports of goods decline by 5.0% month on month

The value of exports was 3.8% and that of imports 25% lower in EUR terms in November 2023 than in the same period of the previous year. The balance of external trade in goods improved by EUR 3.2 billion. Compared to the previous month, the exports of goods increased by 1.0% and the imports of goods were down by 5.0%.

In November 2023:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.9 billion (HUF 4,888 billion) and that of imports to EUR 11.2 billion (HUF 4,237 billion).

The surplus on external trade in goods was EUR 1.7 billion (HUF 651 billion).

The share of EU member states (EU27_2020) was 77% in exports and 75% in imports.

In November 2023 compared to a year earlier:

The value of exports decreased by 3.8% and that of imports by 25% in EUR terms.
