Economic performance grows by 5.3%

The gross domestic product of Hungary was up by 5.3% according to raw data and by 5.2% according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data in the 1st quarter of 2019 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The main contributors to the growth were industry, construction and market-based services.

Compared to the previous quarter the volume of gross domestic product grew by 1.5% – according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data – in the 1st quarter of 2019.
