Industrial production increased by 1.5%

In June 2022, the volume of industrial production grew 1.5% year-on-year. Based on working-day adjusted data production rose by 4.8%. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data industrial output was 0.6% higher than in May 2022.

The volume of production grew in the largest weight representing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year: the manufacture of transport equipment, as well as the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products increased to a lesser degree, the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products rose to a greater extent. However, the production dropped in the majority of the other manufacturing subsections.

In the first six months of the year production was 5.1% higher than in the same period of 2021.

Industrial output in June – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was 0.6% above the level of the previous month.
