Deficit on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 475 million in April

The value of exports was 12% and that of imports 21% larger in EUR terms in April 2022 than in the same period of the previous year. The balance of external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 812 million. Compared to the previous month, the level of goods exports decreased by 8.9% and that of goods imports by 10%.

In April 2022:

The value of exports amounted to EUR 11,052 million (HUF 4,146 billion) and that of imports to EUR 11,527 million (HUF 4,324 billion).

The deficit on external trade in goods was EUR 475 million (HUF 179 billion).

The share of EU Member States (EU27_2020) was 77% in exports and 70% in imports.

In April 2022 compared to a year earlier:

The value of exports increased by 12% and that of imports by 21% in EUR terms.
