aThe eligibility criteria of the regular social assistance changed from 1 July 2006. Because of the introduction of the active age benefit there were another changes in the regular social assistance from 1 January 2009. Regular social assistance ceased to exist since 1 March 2015. 2015 data refer to the period between January and February. The data comparability is limited over time.  bRegular social benefit for people with health impairment or engaged in full-time parenting was introduced on 1 March 2015. 2015 data refer to the period between March and December.  cAvailability support was introduced in 2009. It was replaced by wage replacement allowance on 1 January 2011, which was renamed employment substitution support on 1 September 2011. Significant changes in regulation regarding active age benefit were introduced on 1 March 2015, because of which data comparability over time is limited.  dNursing allowance provided under the principle of equity was ceased from 1 March 2015.The data for 2015 refer only to nursing allowance provided on universal basis. From 1. January 2019 a part of recipients became entitled for child home care allowance.  eThe allowance was introduced on 1 January 2019. It can be provided to parents caring for their child unable for self-care due to serious disability or to chronic illness.
