Construction output volume increased by 3.4% year-on-year, out of the main construction groups the construction of buildings grew by 11.6%, that of civil engineering lessened by 5.0%
According to raw data the volume of construction output was over the previous year’s level by 3.4% in July 2023. Out of the main groups of construction the construction of buildings increased by 11.6%, that of civil engineering decreased by 5.0%. Based on seasonally and working day adjusted indices construction output was over the June level by 8.5%.
In July 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year:
Output of the two main groups of construction changed oppositely: the construction of buildings grew by 11.6%, that of civil engineering fell by 5.0%.
Among the divisions of construction, production grew by 14.1% in the construction of buildings, decreased by 2.1% in civil engineering. Production in specialised constructions rose by 0.3%.
The volume of new contracts concluded decreased 7.0%. Within it the volume of contracts for the construction of buildings was 11.7% higher, the volume regarding civil engineering declined by 24.5% compared to the July 2022 base.
The volume of the end-of-July stock of contracts at construction enterprises lessened by 24.4% year-on-year: within it the volume of contracts was up by 1.2% for the construction of buildings and decreased by 39.9% for civil engineering works.
In the first seven months of 2023 compred to the same period of the previous year:
Construction output decreased by 5.3%.
