Economic performance stagnates in 1st quarter 2025 compared to 1st quarter 20241
The volume of Hungary’s gross domestic product stagnated according to raw data and was 0.4% lower according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data in the 1st quarter of 2025 than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Compared to the previous quarter, the economic performance lessened by 0.2% according to seasonally and calendar adjusted and reconciled data.
The total performance of services positively affected gross domestic product. Industry and construction slowed the economic performance.
