Output volume of the largest weight representing manufacture of transport equipment, having a 26% share in manufacturing, grew by 3.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. Motor vehicles manufacturing increased by 5.6%, the manufacture of parts and accessories for motor vehicles rose by 0.4%.
The manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, accounting for 12% within manufacturing output, grew – at the highest rate out of the subsections – by 22%. Considering the two largest groups, the manufacture of computers and peripheral equipment went up by 69%, at the same time the manufacture of electronic components and boards fell by 9.2%.
The manufacture of electrical equipment, representing a 8.9% weight in manufacturing exceeded by 11.4% the low base level of March 2025. Out of the two largest weight representing groups production volume in the manufacture of batteries and accumulators went up by 34%, the manufacture of electric motors, generators, transformers and electricity distribution and control rose by 13.6%.
The manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products, having a 12% share in manufacturing, was 9.2% higher than in the same month of the previous year, both export and domestic sales grew. Processing and preserving meat and the production of meat products, representing the largest weight (23%), rose by 9.7% year-on-year. Production increased between 5.6% and 18.7% in other eight groups, too, least of all in the processing and preserving of fruit and vegetables, to the greatest extent in the manufacture of vegetable and animal oils and fats. Output declined in two groups only: in the manufacture of dairy products, by 5.0%, and in the small weight representing processing and preserving of fish, crustaceans and molluscs, by 3.5%.
Out of the two medium weight representing subsections the manufacture of rubber and plastics products and other non-metallic mineral products grew by 2.8%, the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment went up by 9.9% compared to the same month of the previous year.
The manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. representing a 6.2% weight in manufacturing grew by 20% compared to March 2025, increases were recorded in the great majority of classes.
Out of the subsections the manufacture of coke, and refined petroleum products, having a 4.2% share in manufacturing, lagged behind the most, by 10.3%, year-on-year, export sales dropped significantly, while domestic sales rose.
