Industrial production dropped by 4.9% year-on-year and by 1.2% compared to May
The volume of industrial production lagged behind the one year earlier level by 4.9% in June 2025. The working day adjusted index is equal to the non-adjusted one. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial output was 1.2% lower than in May 2025.
Production volume decreased in the majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year. Out of the subsections having the largest weight a slight increase was observed in the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products, in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, as well as in the manufacture of electrical equipment, at the same time the output the manufacture of transport equipment significantly fell.
In the first six months of the year industrial production was 3.9% lower than in the same period of 2024.
Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was below the level of the previous month by 1.2%.
