Industrial production increased by 1.3% both year-on-year and compared to the previous month

The volume of industrial production exceeded the one year earlier level by 1.3%, while based on working-day adjusted data it declined year-on-year by 1.5% in September 2025. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial output was 1.3% higher than in August 2025.

Production volume decreased in the majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year. Out of the subsections having the largest weight the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, as well as the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products grew, at the same time a decline occurred in the manufacture of transport equipment, as well as in the manufacture of electrical equipment.

Industrial production was 3.4% lower in the first nine months of the year than in the same period of 2024.

Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 1.3%.
