Industrial production grew by 1.8% year-on-year and by 0.9% compared to the previous month

The volume of industrial production exceeded the one year earlier level by 1.8%, while based on working-day adjusted data it declined year-on-year by 1.0% in December 2025. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial output was 0.9% higher than in November 2025. The volume of industrial production in 2025 was 3.2% below the 2024 level.

Production volume grew in the majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year. Out of the subsections having the largest weight the manufacture of transport equipment, as well as the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products slightly rose, while the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, as well as the manufacture of electrical equipment significantly increased.

Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 0.9%.
