Industrial production increased by 6.7% year-on-year and by 3.1% compared to the previous month

The volume of industrial production grew by 6.7% year-on-year in March 2026. Based on working-day adjusted data production rose by 3.7%. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial output was 3.1% higher than in February 2026.

Production volume increased in the great majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year. Out of the subsections having the largest weight the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, the manufacture of electrical equipment, as well as the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products grew significantly, while the manufacture of transport equipment slightly rose.

In the first three months of the year industrial production was 1.0% higher than in the same period of 2025.

Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 3.1%.
