Industrial production grew by 10.1% year-on-year and decreased by 1.4% compared to the previous month
The volume of industrial production increased by 10.1%, while based on working-day adjusted data, production rose by 4.1%, year-on-year in June 2026. Compared to crude data, the significant difference is due to the fact that there were two more working-days in this month than in June 2025. According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial output was 1.4% lower than in May 2026.
Production volume increased in the great majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year. Out of the subsections having the largest weight the manufacture of transport equipment, the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, as well as the manufacture of electrical equipment products grew year-on-year, at the same time a decline occurred in the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products.
In the first six months of the year industrial production was 2.4% higher than in the same period of 2025.
Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was 1.4% below the level of the previous month.
