HCSO publishes July motor fuel price statistics

Based on data in the Weekly Oil Bulletin, published by the EU, the average price of 95-octane petrol was 590 forints and that of diesel motor fuel 613 forints in Hungary in the month of July. The price of petrol was 14 forints or 2.3% and that of diesel oil 30 forints or 4.7% lower on average in Hungary compared to the prices in neighbouring countries. In countries in the region, the average July price for petrol was 596 forints, the price in Hungary becoming 1.0% or 6 forints lower. The regional average price for diesel equalled 627 forints, the average price in Hungary being 2.2% or 14 forints lower.
