The criteria of eligibility for regular social assistance changed on 1 July 2006. Because of the introduction of active age benefit there was another change on 1 January 2009 in the provision of regular social assistance. Regular social assistance exists no more from 1 March 2015. The 2015 data refer to the period of January to February. The comparability of data is limited over time.

The health impairment or full-time parenting benefit was introduced on 1 March 2015. The 2015 data refer to the period between March and December.

Availability support, introduced in 2009, was replaced by wage replacement allowance on 1 January 2011, which was renamed employment substitution support on 1 September 2011. The comparability of data on employment substitution support is limited over time due to legislative changes related to active age benefit on 1 March 2015.

Nursing allowance provided under the principle of equity was ceased from 1 March 2015.The data for 2015 refer only to nursing allowance provided on universal basis. From 1. January 2019 a part of recipients became entitled for child home care allowance.

The allowance was introduced on 1 January 2019. It can be provided to parents caring for their child unable for self-care due to serious disability or to chronic illness.

Regular child protection benefit, it was a regular monthly benefit until 2005. From 2006 a part of it was included in the family allowance, while the benefit in kind remained as a regular child protection allowance.

Regular child protection allowance, a form of benefit introduced from 2006, the remaining in-kind part of the child protection benefit that was ceased. It can be awarded twice a year (August, November). Cash benefit from 2019.

Supplementary child protection benefit from 2006 to 2013. From 1 April 2013, it became a benefit linked to the regular child protection allowance, available to a narrower group of beneficiaries. It is a regular monthly benefit, plus a supplementary allowance that may be granted twice a year.
