Q2020: Prestigious Statistical Conference in Budapest

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office will host one of the most prestigious international events on the topic of official statistics, the European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics (Q2020 Budapest) between June 9-12, 2020 in Budapest.

The Q conference series provides an outstanding forum for discussing issues related to the quality of official statistics. The conference is organized bianually in a Member State of the European Statistical System with the participation of 400-500 experts. High-level methodological training courses on the statistical production, development and dissemination will be held on the first day of the event, whereas special and plenary sessions will follow on the next days.

The participants of the 10th Q2020 Budapest conference will share their knowledge and experience in the areas of quality management, responding to user needs, methodological, technological and dissemination-related developments, while touching on the changing role of official statistics in society, as well as the challenges of the data revolution.
