Tasks of the Information Technology Services Department:

1. establishing and updating a catalogue of information technology and telecommunications services (hereinafter referred to as "infocommunications services") provided to the organisational units of the HCSO;
2. ensuring the continuous development of infocommunication services;
3. assessing and documenting the IT needs of the Organisation;
4. developing proposals to meet IT needs;
5. initiating, managing and monitoring IT developments;
6. supporting the use of ICT services;
7. managing errors and deficiencies in relation to infocommunications services;
8. operating and developing IT systems and infrastructure in accordance with professional requirements, developing new IT applications where necessary;
9. performing information security-related tasks;
10.  preparing, regularly reviewing and monitoring the implementation of strategic, management and technical documentation relating to IT operations;
11.  performing the IT tasks provided for in agreements with the institutions under the control of HCSO;
12.  preparing, conducting and documenting IT procurement procedures;
13.  drawing up HCSO's IT Procurement Development Plan and the related report;
14.  coordinating the tasks related to the State Application Development Environment (FLORA).
