Tasks of the User Relations Department:

1.  the professional operation of the "Contact us" system, which is a channel for registering and responding to user requests and for contacting users, and the systematic collection of user feedback;
2.  running the information service, operating the Information Service Call Centre;
3.  providing regular and ad hoc data and information to national and international users, in cooperation with the Statistics and Data Collection Departments and the Methodology Department as well as the Communication Department;
4.  tasks deriving from being responsible for updating the list of users receiving publications in collaboration with the Communication Department;
5.  coordinating the data transmission to international organisations, in particular in cooperation with the IMF, excluding the regular data transmissions to the European Commission (Eurostat);
6.  answering user questions on the availability of statistical data published by Eurostat on the European Union and other information for national users;
7.  operating the Safe Centres of the HCSO and carrying out the organisational and coordination tasks related to their operation;
8.  coordinating the micro-data access service for national and foreign researchers;
9.  preparing classification statements based on statistical classifications responding to requests received by the HCSO;
10.  issuing certificates (of statistical code, of statistical data);
11.  dissemination of publications, organising the provision of statistical services;
12.  planning and developing statistical services adapted to user needs;
13.  performing service tasks related to the implementation of the professional programme of the HCSO for the development of statistical culture;
14.  professional management of administrative records related to data requests and responses to them;
15.  participation in the work of the Data Protection Committee.
