Contrary to the significant growth compared to the previous month - in connection with the tendency of export demand - the increase of a slight pace in industrial production continued. -
Preliminary data about the change in the industrial output, August 2011
According to preliminary data in August 2011 industrial gross output rose by 4.4% compared to August 2010, while the index adjusted by working days decreased by 0.4%. The volume of the production was 6.7% higher in the first eight months of 2011 than in the same period of the previous year. The volume of industrial production in August - according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices - was below the level of the previous month by 1.3%.
