In April 2018, the volume of sales in retail shops increased by 4.4% according to raw data and, mainly due to the Easter effect, by 6.1% adjusted for calendar effects compared to the same period of the previous year. The volume of sales, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 2.3% in specialized and non-specialized food shops, by 9.7% in non-food retail shops and by 8.6% in automotive fuel retailing. In January–April 2018, the volume of sales – also according to calendar adjusted data – was 6.9% -

In March 2018, the volume of sales in retail shops increased by 8.7% according to raw data and, mainly due to the Easter effect, by 7.3% adjusted for calendar effects compared to the same period of the previous year. The volume of sales, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 7.7% in specialized and non-specialized food shops, by 7.4% in non-food retail shops and by 5.1% in automotive fuel retailing. The volume of sales, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 3.6% in specialized and non-specialized food shops, by 9.2% in non-food retail shops and by 9.8% in automotive fuel retailing. The volume of sales, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 4.5% in specialized and non-specialized food shops, by 12.5% in non-food retail shops and by 8.1% in automotive fuel retailing.
