The development of small and medium-sized enterprises is a common cause, 05/09/2025

A consultation was held at the headquarters of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO) on September 1, 2025, on an AI-based business management and legal decision-making platform for the small and medium-sized enterprise sector. The meeting was attended by the heads of the HCSO and the National Data Asset Management Agency (NAVÜ), representatives of the Ministry of Energy (EM), the Ministry for National Economy (NGM), the Ministry of Justice (IM), and the leaders of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK). Supporting SMEs is not only an economic interest, but also a common cause that will determine the future of society as a whole, which the HCSO is ready to support with all the means at its disposal.

Small and medium-sized enterprises play a key role in the dynamism of the economy, as without them, sustainable growth, the creation of new jobs, and innovation would be unimaginable. Cooperation and joint thinking are essential for successfully addressing the challenges of the future. The opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and chamber and government support can all contribute to the stability of SMEs in a changing economic environment.

The HCSO is committed to continuing its cooperation with policy, professional, and economic partners in the future in order to ensure that Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises can develop successfully and contribute to the country's economic growth.
