HCSO publishes September motor fuel price statistics, 03/10/2025

Based on data in the Weekly Oil Bulletin, published by the EU, the average price of 95-octane petrol was 585 forints and that of diesel motor fuel 588 forints in Hungary in the month of September. The price of petrol was 2 forints or 0.3% and that of diesel oil 3 forints or 0.5% lower on average in Hungary than the average for neighbouring countries. In countries in the region, the average September price was 566 forints for both petrol and diesel. Petrol prices in Hungary were 3.4% or 19 forints higher than the regional average, while diesel prices were 3.9% or 22 forints higher.
