The Hungarian Artificial Intelligence Council has been formed with the participation of the HCSO

The Hungarian Artificial Intelligence Council (MMIT) has been formed under the leadership of László Palkovics, Government Commissioner; the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO) is a founding member of the AI Council, too. The MMIT is responsible for implementing the AI Act of the EU, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, as well as for creating the Hungarian AI strategy. According to the plans the activity of the establishment is going to play a key role in improving Hungary’s digital competitiveness and in supporting the digital innovation related economic growth, while ensuring the compliance with the EU legislative framework.
