New, artificial intelligence-based training is about to start

The HCSO is supporting the broadening of AI knowledge

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO) is committed, as the manager of Hungary’s largest data assets, in discovering and applying the newest technological solutions. Based on the Office’s openness toward innovation and the strategic goal of using artificial intelligence (AI), an opportunity opens for acquiring the base concepts of AI.

It is of great importance for the HCSO, besides the data assets’ responsible management, their analysis and interpretation by using the most recent technological means. Possibilities offered by AI and machine learning – especially the fast and precise processing of complex, large data amounts – open new dimensions into statistical information services. Integrating these solutions, by serving fact-based decision making for everyday work is a goal of the Office.

The “AI is coming – base concepts of AI” free of charge online study material presents the base concepts of AI, its history, its economic and social effects as well as the effective use of AI tools. The training is a joint venture of the Dennis Gabor University Artificial Intelligence Knowledge Lab and the STRT Holding.

The three-hour long training may be completed online anywhere, anytime. Participants decide if they only get familiar with the study material or choose to obtain the adult-learning micro-certificate by completing the training.

The training is available for everyone interested in better understanding and efficiently using AI tools in their work, study or in their everyday life.
