1.4. preparing users’ international analyses and comparisons regarding statistical data and information published by Eurostat and referring to the European Union, |

1.5. following up recent trends in international research, experimental statistics as well as methodological developments, and preparing proposals for new fields for development, |
| |
1.6. continuously monitoring and evaluating the analyses, reports and surveys of statistical institutions, external institutions and international organisations, as well as preparing analyses and dissemination materials based on these documents, |
| |
1.7. participating in devising and developing HCSO indicator systems, and in related data collections and analysing the respective data, |

completing domestic and international tasks related to area (spatial, territorial, regional development and rural development) statistics, and co-ordinating them within HCSO, including: |

2.1. performing the methodological development of spatial typologies and territorial delimitations, and maintaining territorial nomenclatures, |

2.2. co-operating with public bodies involved in regional development in the compilation of regional development concepts, development strategies and operational programmes, |
| |
2.3. planning, preparing, organising, processing, and controlling the quality of statistical data collections for the registration of administrative changes, |
| |
2.4. maintaining the Gazetteer of Hungary and editing the Detailed Gazetteer of Hungary, |
| |
2.5. ensuring the technical supervision of the Statistical Address Register and managing the Country Register, |
| |
2.6. developing the content of Geoportal, |
| 3. |
database development and data processing tasks: |
| |
3.1. ensuring the technical supervision of the Virtual Hungary system, |
| |
3.2. ensuring the technical supervision of the Single Data Processing System, |
| |
3.3. elaborating and applying data storage conventions, |
| |
3.4. providing individual data processing services to the organisational units of HCSO, |
| |
3.5. ensuring the IT planning of data adoptions and organising these into a database, |
| |
3.6. ensuring internal access to data and preparing data for analysis, research, processing and dissemination. |
